About Point Breeze

Point Breeze Bed and Breakfast is a waterfront B and B located on a beautiful point of land along St. Michaels harbor, across from the Hooper Strait Lighthouse of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The grounds boast large shade trees, sunny expanses, and 400 feet of waterfront. The 150' dock with 3 1/2' MLW is a great spot for fishing and crabbing, or simply relaxing with a glass of wine while enjoying the sunset.

In the traditional manner of a homestay B&B, guests are invited to visit in several areas throughout the house. The large screen porch or shaded deck are equally inviting with wonderful scenes of harbor happenings, boats coming and going, wildlife in the cove, and breathtaking sunsets. Roll out a chaise lounge anywhere on the grounds and enjoy a good book or a peaceful nap. In the sitting room peruse local information, which includes restaurant menus and brochures from museums, shops and other attractions. Watch TV and movies in the Great Room, or play the piano in the Living Room. There is plenty of space to either interact with other guests or enjoy some quiet privacy. The choice is yours.

There are several first floor bedrooms available at Point Breeze B & B, tastefully decorated to reflect the areas interests. The Waterfowl Room features a queen bed and en suite bath with stall shower. It is furnished with two dressers, a desk, a comfortable wing chair and ceiling fan. In the nautical wing you have your choice of the Captains Quarters or the Nautical Room. The Captains Quarters is a waterfront bedroom featuring a king bed, dresser and desk. If you prefer twin beds, the Nautical Room will suit your needs. You will find a sofa, a secretary and ceiling fan in this room. These two rooms are also available together for a family. The Nautical bath features a tub/shower combination.

A scrumptious breakfast is served daily on the screen porch overlooking the water. You will find juices, fresh fruit, home baked breads and muffins, and a hot dish du jour. Personal preferences and dietary restrictions are taken into consideration whenever possible. Coffee and tea are always brewing.

Just off the Great Room, a wet bar with ice maker and wine cooler puts refreshments at your convenience. Feel free to bring your own libations and enjoy cocktail hour at Point Breeze B&B. Complimentary soft drinks are available all day long.

A few extra amenities may make your stay more enjoyable. Wireless internet access is available for your laptop, and there are games, puzzles, movies and books for your entertainment. Outside enjoy complimentary use of bicycles, kayaks, and a canoe. We can set up badminton, croquet and Yolf. Would you like to try your hand at crabbing? Instructions, supplies and ‘chicken necks’ are available.
